Today, November 29, 2023, In China, The Xiaomi Company Officially Announced Two New And Highly Anticipated Phones, the Redmi K70 And Redmi K70 Pro.

This unveiling event was supposed to be accompanied by the introduction of other products, such as Redmi Buds 5 Pro, Redmi Book 2024, and Redmi Watch 4, at 19:00 local time.

The Redmi K70 phone comes with a 6.67-inch display that has a brightness of 4000 nits and a thickness of 74.95 mm. Earlier, there were rumors that this device would use an AMOLED display and the latest version of the Snapdragon 8 processor. Now, Xiaomi has officially unveiled all the features of these smartphones in China.

After introducing the Xiaomi 14 series in China with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, one of Xiaomi’s subsidiaries has launched the new Redmi K70 series with the same top-of-the-line processor.

The device has been unveiled with significant upgrades over the Redmi K60 series, which was rebranded and launched globally as the POCO F5 Pro.

Specifications and features of Redmi K70 and K70 Pro

The Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have been announced in China with a 32% increase in CPU performance and a 34% increase in GPU performance, scoring 2,247,800 in AnTuTu tests. It delivers powerful performance with 34% less CPU power consumption and 38% less GPU power consumption.

Xiaomi has also announced the introduction of a rear cooling system to increase the device’s performance. The Redmi K60 was launched with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, and the K70 series was expected to launch with at least a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

According to Gizchina, the confirmed Redmi series models include the Redmi 70E, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro. These devices have been unveiled with Hyper OS, a bezel-less display, and a new camera setup on the back.

The cameras used in the Redmi K70 series are likely to support OIS and AI features.

The primary camera is expected to be 50 megapixels. These devices are expected to come in three RAM and storage options: 16GB 256GB, 16GB 512GB, and 24GB 1TB.
