iPhone 14 specifications
At an event on September 7, Apple announced the iPhone 14 series, including the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. For the first time, Apple introduced the Plus version of the iPhone and the iPhone 14 with the Apple A15 Bionic chip last year. Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max come with Apple’s A6 Bionic chip.
iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen with 1170 x 2532 pixels resolution. It supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. The brightness of the screen is 1200 nits. The smartphone has a dual rear camera consisting of a 12-megapixel (26mm) primary sensor and a 12-megapixel (23mm) ultra-wide sensor. There’s a 23mm-wide 12-megapixel front-facing sensor for selfies and video calling.
iPhone 14 Plus has a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. It has a resolution of 1284 x 2778 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. This device supports Apple’s A15 Bionic chip and is available in 128/256/512 GB NVMe memory. The camera configuration remains the same as the iPhone 14.
The iPhone 14 Pro has a 6.1-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. This display can reach 2000 nits under direct sunlight in high brightness mode. The smartphone comes with Apple’s latest A16 Bionic chip, built on the 4nm process. It is available in 129/256/512 and 1TB storage options.
In the camera configuration, the iPhone 14 Pro has a 48-megapixel primary sensor with a size of 24 mm and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor of 77 mm. The other two sensors include a 12MP ultra-wide 13mm sensor and a TOF 3D LiDAR scanner. The primary and telephoto lenses offer OIS stabilization. However, the front camera remains the same as the iPhone 14.
iPhone 14 Pro Max has the same display panel but with a size of 6.7 inches. The screen resolution is 1290 x 2796 pixels. Its battery is also improved compared to the iPhone 14 Pro. Other specifications remain the same as the iPhone 14 Pro.
