How to permanently hide chat in WhatsApp 

To hide archive chats forever, open your WhatsApp app, tap the vertical dot button in the upper-right corner.

Select Settings.

Tap  Chats.

How to archive all chats in WhatsApp

You can also archive all your chats. Doing so will hide all your conversations and empty your new chat page. If the settings are not on the option to permanently hide chats in WhatsApp, you can view them on the first page and reply to your message after receiving the message in each of these archived chats. How to archive all conversations is as follows:

Go to the More options section at the top right of your screen.

Tap Settings.

Then select the Chat section.

Tap  Chat History.

Select   Archive all chats here.

Click OK to confirm.

How to disable permanent archiving? 

If you are tired of hiding chats permanently in WhatsApp and want to disable it, change the ” Archived ” option in  Settings> Chats from on to off. However, there is another method that allows you to disable this option without going to settings.

Tap Archived to access the settings.

Then select  More options.

Click on  Archive settings.

Now you can see the  Keep chats archived option, which if you want to disable the archive mode, change this option from on to off.

What if ” Keep chats archived ” is not available?

Do not worry if you do not find the option to archive the menu and permanently hide chat in WhatsApp. It is only available on  WhatsApp version 2.21.11.1 and above, which is currently in beta and may not be available to you. This feature will later be released to the general public and available to users in the coming days.
