The Google One VPN program was initially only available on the Android platform. But at the beginning of this year, Google offered this application to iOS users to increase its reach.

How to download Google One VPN

To download the app on your Mac or Windows computer, first, go to one.google.com/benefits. On the open page, find the VPN protection for multiple devices section, then click on view details and the Download App button on the bottom right corner.

On a Mac desktop, a specific system extension must be enabled. Also, turn on the “launch app after the computer starts” option and add VPN settings. The only thing that needs to be done after these steps are to log in to the Google account by the user. After that, the only action required each time is to turn the VPN on or off.

It is important to note that Google One VPN is not available to everyone and only to users with a particular subscription of 2 TB or higher. This means you won’t be able to access the Google One VPN app if you use the app’s primary 100GB or standard 200GB plan.

Another plugin is Google Workspace Premium. It offers longer Meet calls, YouTube live streaming, recording, and voice cancellation.

Currently, the Google One VPN app is unavailable for everyone to download. Starting today, some users can download it, and within the subsequent few days, access will be extended to all users.
