If you enter the world of Linux, you need one of the versions or actually distributions of Linux. There are hundreds of Linux distributions, but not all are suitable for someone new to Linux. In this article, we are going to present our proposal of distributions that are suitable for a beginner.

Linux and its title is actually the name of a kernel; the kernel is the core of the operating system. All versions and distributions of use the same kernel, but because the kernel of the  operating system is Open Source, programmers and professionals can edit it, develop it and finally produce a version. Do It is very easy to use Linux versions, choose the version you want and then install it.

Ubuntu version – Ubuntu

One of the famous, functional and widely supported versions is Ubuntu. This version is great for beginners and novices, in its desktop version you can see a great and beautiful user interface that can provide you with many features. Installing the Ubuntu version is very easy and simple and is not particularly complicated. With a simple search, you can easily find instructions on how to install it.

This version has many users and includes a strong and professional community who discuss and exchange opinions in chat rooms and help each other in solving problems. In some versions of Ubuntu, you will come across the word LTS, this word means Long Term Support and it indicates that this version will be supported for a long time.

Mint version – Linux Mint

In this version, you will encounter a completely traditional and old desktop. This version of Linux is one of the popular and famous distributions, but I cannot recommend it as an alternative to Ubuntu. This is developed based on MATE and Xfce, which are actually among the traditional desktop platforms in Linux. In general, this version can be a suitable option to start with due to its simplicity and efficiency.

Fedora version – Linux Fedora

Ubuntu and Mint are great places to start, but if you’re looking for a different version of than the previous two, you might want to consider Fedora. This version of has deeper differences than Ubuntu, Mint, and even other distributions. This version of is a suitable and practical platform for using open-source programs and is not a suitable source for closed-source programs.

This operating system was originally written based on the kernel and was not taken from other distributions. For example, Ubuntu is written based on Debian. This , Fedora, has been released in different distributions, which we know as Fedora Spins, which are offered for different applications
