After introducing the folding and sliding old panels, Samsung has now unveiled the world’s first old laptop panel with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. This new-old panel is designed for high-end gaming laptops.
According to Sammobile, Razer has already tested Samsung’s new display panel. This 15-inch old panel uses QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Samsung’s new Old Panel will likely also support HDR10 Plus and Dolby Vision technology. The faster response time of older pixels than LCD panels with a refresh rate of 360 Hz will likely provide a smoother gaming experience for gamers.
The Razer Blade 15 is likely to be the first gaming laptop to feature Samsung’s new 240Hz old panel. This device will be released in the last quarter of 2022. The base model will be available for $ 3,500. Razer uses Intel 12th generation processors and Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics processor in this laptop.
Samsung also unveiled an old folding panel that shrinks in half after folding and can be used on handheld gaming consoles.
