Finally, You Can See The Saved Wi-Fi Password In Windows 11
According To New News, The Recent Windows 11 Update Allows Users To View Their Saved Wi-Fi Passwords In The Settings.
Continuing this hardware city news, we will discuss the new update of Windows 11 and the method of viewing the Wi-Fi password.
As you know, Windows 11 has been released for over two years. This operating system, a replacement for Windows 10, has brought many of the features of smartphones to laptops and computers.
Although Windows 11 has increased the number of user-friendly features compared to the previous version, it has fallen short in some areas.
Fortunately, Microsoft is doing its best to fix these shortcomings. According to the Gizmochina website, Microsoft is testing a new feature in the Windows 11 Insider Preview update that allows users to view and share their Wi-Fi passwords easily.
How to view Wi-Fi passwords in Windows 11
Until now, viewing the Wi-Fi password stored in the Windows 11 settings was impossible, and the user had to do this through the Control Panel. Fortunately, this situation is changing. Microsoft recently introduced a new update for Windows 11 that brings a new feature. This feature allows users to view all their saved Wi-Fi passwords.
Previously, users had to use separate software or control panel sections or search for their Wi-Fi password in the Windows registry. But with this new feature, sharing your Wi-Fi passwords or finding them if you forget them has become much more manageable. Soon, users can view their saved Wi-Fi passwords by following straightforward steps.
If you’ve received the new Windows 11 Insider Preview update, open the Settings app and go to Network & Internet> Wi-Fi to view your saved Wi-Fi passwords. In the Manage Known Networks section, you will see a list of all Wi-Fi networks that your system has connected to in the past. Select a network’s password and then click the “View Wi-Fi Security Key” section to view it. By doing this, the password of this Network will be displayed in plain text.
