Audio and Sound Problem on Windows 10

Unfortunately in Windows, some problems can be a little troublesome, some of these problems can be from third-party programs or some patches related to programs, also the problem can be from Windows 10 or the hardware used in the computer. Possible solutions could be installing new drivers, manipulating and changing audio settings, or even restoring from a backup.
In the first steps, we will solve the problem with easier and simpler solutions, and if your problem is not solved, you can try other ways that are written in this article on your system.
Easy ways
In the first step, to make sure that the problem is a little more complicated and requires major changes to your operating system, it is best to first check the sound of your system to make sure that you did not accidentally mute it, often this happens that we accidentally turned off the sound of our system and we didn’t notice it.

Set the audio output

Taskbar Route

Control Panel Route
Press the Windows key and type the word Control Panel in the search bar of the Taskbar, and select the Control Panel option in the results shown, then in the Control Panel menu, click on Hardware and Sound, and on the Next page, click on Sound.
Now a small window called Sound is in front of you, make sure that the output you want is specified by default in the system, otherwise, click on the output you want, and select Set Default click OK to exit the page and the settings will be saved for you.
Run the Troubleshooter
The Windows 10 operating system comes with a troubleshooter by default, this troubleshooter scans your settings and automatically tries to fix any problems or defects in your system.
Press the Windows key and search for the word Audio, then select Find and fix problems with playing sound when found, this will open a troubleshooter in the control panel for your sound settings.
You can also run this troubleshooter from Start> Settings> System> Sound> Troubleshoot.
After the troubleshooter scans all your audio devices, you will be presented with a list of all the devices that can play audio on your system, select the device you want and click Next. Windows 10 will examine all possible problems, and provide you with solutions.
Audio Service
Press the Windows key and in the search bar, search for the word Services, find the results and click Services.
In the Services window you need to restart three services:
- Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
- Windows Audio
- Windows Audio Endpoint Builder
For each of the services, you must first select them by left-clicking, then right-clicking, and then clicking on the word Restart. If the Restart option is disabled for you, you can use the Refresh option.
Turn off Audio Enhancements

Type the word Control Panel in the search bar.

Audio Format

Now you can see all the audio players and categories connected to your system, click on it to update the driver you want, then right-click and select Update Driver.
