Artificial Intelligence Stickers Are Coming To Social Networks Meta
It Brings Artificial Intelligence-Generated Meta Stickers To Messenger As Part Of The Relevant Features For Its Social Apps.
The company says AI-generated labels are just a sliver of what’s to come.
According to media reports, Ahmed Al Dehli, AI Meta’s deputy CEO, said in a meeting with employees that the company would use its image generation model to allow users to create their tags based on the text of the guide. Employees will test the feature internally before it becomes available to the public.
“With AI-generated labels, our users can use more options for self-expression, cultural representation, and even trend representation,” says Aldehli. Of course, the stickers are just a slice of what’s to come.
Aldehly added that the company is also working on AI models that are supposed to change the image of anything in any way you want. This includes things like “resizing your photo” or turning a photo of a corgi into “a painting.”
Meta first hinted at using generative AI in its products when Zuckerberg announced that the company now has a team dedicated to building AI-powered tools, including text “experiences” in Messenger and WhatsApp.
These tools include “experiments” with text in Messenger and WhatsApp.
In April, Zuckerberg told investors that Meta wants to “bring AI agents to billions of people” and reiterated his goals to launch artificial intelligence features within WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, and Instagram.
The company is also diving deep into AI with its LLaMA language model. It recently announced a new open-source AI model that combines text, audio, video, motion, thermal and depth data.
