Trevor Potelberg Is An Adventure Photographer Who Takes Risks To Photograph The Massive Waves Of Lake Erie In Inclement Weather And Storms.

When most people see that a storm is coming, they take shelter in their safe houses and wait until the end of the danger; But the adventure of Trevor Potelberg is just beginning.

The Ontario-based photographer specializes in landscape, wildlife, and astrophotography but is fascinated by waves. His location near Lake Erie makes it easy for him to ride it out whenever he hears about an impending storm, knowing he’s in for an adventure.

Potelberg faced 60 mph winds with taking these photos. He stays on the ground with his equipment and endures lousy weather and storms. He was bearing all these hardships to get a chance to capture the power and beauty of the vast waves coming out of Lake Erie.
