The Brilliant Winners Of The 2023 “Ceshm Mendan” Photography Awards
All About Photo Is Proud To Announce The Winners Of This Year’s The Mind’s Eye Awards, Which Showcase The Best Images From Photographers Around The World.
Now in its eighth year of competition, All About Photo has become a reference for discovering new talent and celebrating outstanding photographers. The jury selected 39 winners from 18 countries and five continents this year.
Like four of the five winning images, most of this year’s submissions were in color. Many of the images submitted to the contest reflected catastrophic events, But in the end, only two shots out of 45 selected photos of world conflicts were included. This year, the judges’ selections seem less sentimental and more focused on solid aesthetics.

The winning image by Indonesian photographer Priyo Widi shows the Indonesian national wheelchair basketball team in the middle of a breathtaking contest where the decisive and winning shot is about to happen. In a dynamic composition in which the photographer freezes the action, two opponents, almost symmetrical to each other, raise their wheelchairs with all their might to stop the shot. This is a powerful image of resilience.

The other four winning images are also very dynamic in their composition. Haikun Liang’s photo shows a man running away from an explosion. Raul Cacho Ossés has recorded the riders galloping and performing in Morocco. Andrea Bettancini photographed children running and diving in Zanzibar’s Stone Town harbor. Pedro Luis Ajuriagora created an almost unbelievable image of the sky plunging in front of the Guggenheim Museum during the Red Bull Cliff Diving event.
