Hasselblad Announced The Winners Of The Masters 2021 Photography Competition In 12 Categories. Winning Photographers Earn The Title Of Hasselblad Master And Receive A Hasselblad Medium Format Mirrorless Camera.

The Hasselblad Masters Competition is regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious professional photography competitions, with winners selected through a combination of public vote and a professional Hasselblad Masters Jury (consisting of internationally renowned photographers and imaging experts).

Hesselblad says the competition this year was more significant than in previous years. This year, this competition was expanded to 12 categories, and on the occasion of Hasselblad’s 80th birthday, the “Heritage” category was also added to it.

The 2021 contest broke records by receiving more than 63,000 photos, double the number of images uploaded compared to 2018. It should be mentioned that the participants were not required to use Hasselblad cameras to participate in the competition.

This year’s contest was extra special not only because of our anniversary celebration but also over 89,000 total votes! Seeing the number of professional photographers, Hasselblad users, and non-Hasselblad users who participated in the 2021 competition was incredible. The abundance of creative participants and unique submitted photos made it difficult to determine the winners of Hasselblad Masters 2021.
