Winners Of The First Round Of Natural Landscape Photography Competitions
The First Event Of A Newly Established Landscape Photography Competition Aimed At Creating New Ideas In An Already Saturated Photography Competition Industry Has Announced Its Winners.
The Natural Landscape Photography Competition has announced the winners of its first round of competitions from among the best landscape photographers who value realism and authenticity.
This new landscape photography competition has been created by Matt Payne, Tim Parkin, Alex Neill, and Rajesh Jyothiswaran to bring a fresh face to the already saturated industry of photography awards.
The founders laid down rules to avoid the kinds of gimmicky digital editing techniques standard in landscape photography today.
Social media founders have noticed that the line between art and reality is blurred in these images.
This current situation is somewhat inevitable and understandable.
According to this organization, when photography contests make no distinction between reality and editing of reality, photographers who try to work within the boundaries of the scenes they have experienced face difficulties competing with photographers far from these limits.
Finally, the new landscape photography competition is a beautiful display of photographers in this field and the natural wonder of landscapes in a way people can trust.
This year, 131,368 photos from 47 countries were submitted by more than 1,300 photographers.
The first round of the competition included four distinct categories: Wide Landscape, Cozy and Abstract, Night Landscape, Aerial, and a project section where photographers could submit six to ten related images.
The overall winner of Landscape Photographer of the Year was awarded to the photographer who had the best collection of six photographs that did not need to be related to each other and could showcase a variety of subject matter, techniques, and approaches.
The first-place winner received a $5,000 cash prize, a Canon EOS R5 camera, and a Shimoda Designs Action X Starter Kit. The next winner and winners in other categories also received cash prizes and other prizes from the $20,000 prize pool.

- Photographer’s name: Eric Bennett
Eric Bennett, a Utah-based landscape and nature photographer, was awarded the overall winner of the landscape competition for his selection of images.
Bennett says:
As a photographer who strives to show people the value of wild nature, I have always enjoyed seeing and creating more tender and personal photographs that depict nature realistically.
He also adds:
It is a great honor to receive this award from such a valuable and prestigious group of photographers who have always interested me. I hope the landscape photography competition can continue for years to come, stay true to its values and inspire other photography competitions to award photographers based on similar artistic principles.
