Beautiful moments of wildlife in the camera frame

If Wildlife And Seeing Animals Big And Small As They Go About Their Daily Lives Excites You, Don’t Miss This Part Of The Shutter.

Meet Dick Van Duyne, The wildlife photographer who became famous on the internet by publishing a picture of a squirrel smelling a yellow flower.

He took another exceptional picture of a squirrel this fall. This time, Dick traveled to Belgium to photograph flying squirrels and settled in a small wooden cabin in a forest with beautiful autumn colors. He woke up an hour before sunrise and left the hut just before sunset.

It may be hard to believe that it took about 8 hours to record this beautiful picture of a bit of squirrel jumping.

Dick usually takes pictures of other animals besides squirrels, But photographing squirrels is much more complex and has challenges due to their ctenophores. Although he had already taken photos of jumping squirrels, this new image of his flying squirrel was beautiful and unique in the bright red-orange colors in the background and the posture of the squirrel’s body, passing through the air like a real Superman.

Dick’s purpose of travel is to photograph animals. In the last few years, this wildlife photographer has planned trips exclusively for photographing certain animals. Our animal photographer says:

I have traveled to several countries to photograph specific animals in the last few years. In December, I plan to go to Spain and try to photograph Iberian lynxes. I will also go to Costa Rica in January; This country has always been at the top of my travel bucket list. My purpose for these trips is only to photograph animals.

Dick is madly in love with animals and their behavior. He has been photographing them for several years. Dick says:

I still want to photograph penguin chicks in Antarctica. It has always been my dream. I know that traveling to Antarctica is costly, but I will finally make this long dream come true one day.

Sometimes you have to be patient when photographing animals, But you don’t always succeed. Periodically you must return to the same place several times to retake photos. As you know, capturing a Superman-like picture of a flying squirrel took me almost 8 hours. It would help if you never lost hope to succeed and get the desired result in this way.

Dick sometimes goes to De Hoge Veluwe National Park in the Netherlands during red deer mating season. He says that you can take perfect pictures of red deer in the afternoons in this park.

We also have many red foxes in the Netherlands. To photograph the beauty of this fox, I need to pick up my camera and go to the Dutch coast’s dunes and industrial areas.
