Adobe Firefly for Enterprise, announced during the Adobe Summit event, allows any employee in a company—regardless of their creative skills—to instantly generate images or copy text-based descriptions, which can then be Marketing campaigns, social media promotions, and other corporate uses.

Enterprise users can access Firefly through the standalone Firefly app, Creative Cloud, or Adobe Express, Adobe’s cloud-based design platform. Businesses can also build Firefly into their ecosystem by training the AI ​​model with their brand’s corporate assets, which allows Firefly to replicate brand style when producing images and copy.

“Enterprise leaders expect demand for content to grow fivefold over the next two years, making them want to increase efficiency internally,” said David Wadwani, head of digital media business at Adobe. This new enterprise offering enables users of all skill levels to instantly turn ideas into content with Firefly while leveraging the power of Express and Creative Cloud to change assets and deliver outstanding designs quickly.

Adobe doesn’t yet have an exact price for sharing Firefly for Enterprise. However, Ashley Steele, senior vice president of digital media at Adobe, confirmed that licenses that can be rolled out broadly to employees would be available to brands for a fixed price. Adobe built Firefly by training it on Adobe Stock images, openly licensed content, and copyright-free content in the public domain so that it is not problematic for commercial use. This distinguishes Firefly from other generative AI models, such as the company’s Dall-E OpenAI differentiates. AI image generation models have not disclosed their training data, which may cause copyright issues for organizations.

Aside from its guaranteed commercial viability, Firefly’s widespread popularity, fueled mainly by its high-quality results, will greatly interest businesses exploring productive AI solutions.

Firefly beta users have generated more than 200 million images since its launch in March 2023, and more than 150 million images were created in just two weeks using Photoshop’s new Generative Fill feature.

The company also recently launched an Enterprise tier for its Adobe Express product, designed to support collaboration across organizations.
