Trango Towers; An Achievable Dream For Photographers And Mountaineers
Trango Towers Is The Name Of A Group Of Rocks And the Stone Mountains Located In Gilgit, Pakistan.
Traveling to these mountains in the Karaqom mountain range is the dream of mountaineers and mountain landscape and portrait photographers.
It is easier to discover yourself facing the power of the mountains, Or at least it came to the fact that most of the boundaries and fears we have are created by our minds. We will reach freedom when we move beyond the fears and limitations of our minds.
The Trango Mountains are a collection of tower-like rocks and mountains in northern Pakistan; photographing them may be a photographer’s dream. Thomas Shikajni is a lucky photographer who has traveled to Trango twice to photograph it in 72 different ways.
Thomas is a mountain landscape photographer with a strong passion for black-and-white photography. He is the head of, e.g., workshops; he believes that to become a better photographer, we must leave home and start traveling.

Visiting the vertical walls of the Trango Mountains is the dream of every mountaineer and mountain lover. In 2019 and 2021, I saw the Karagum mountain range to find out why I was interested. After the first visit to this
Mountains, I realized that photographing this landscape can be the dream of every photographer. The shapes, lines, and textures in the rocks and cliffs were able to surprise me every time. I could stare at those stone statues forever. This trip was an endless photographic inspiration for me. A dream in which I had a chance to record the mountain landscape differently every second.
