The art of charisma in business

What is Charisma?

In the business world, too, people can use charisma well, knowing how to communicate deeply with others, persuade them, and influence them.

It is the definition of charisma. Now people who know well how to use the power of charisma to attract their audience are called charismatic. Which we will talk more about in the following.

What does charismatic mean?

As we have said, having charisma or being charismatic is an attribute. For example, throughout history, people like Martin Luther King, Jr., Churchill, Gandhi, and Obama have been leaders who were considered charismatic.

Or in the business world, Steve Jobs, Ilan Musk, and Bill Gates are charismatic people even if they have / will have a great impact on people after their death.

Many times in our lives, some people always make us feel empowered.

If you are careful, they are usually in the role of our principal, teacher, or advisor and can guide us well. We will talk more about them in the next section.

Characteristics of charismatic people

Each person/manager / charismatic leader has their unique characteristics, but several characteristics are common to all of them:

1. Communicate

A charismatic manager has very high communication skills (both individually and in groups). This feature helps their employees be motivated in difficult situations and stay well in easy situations.

2. Behaving like an adult

In addition, a charismatic leader behaves consciously and has a full personality. It is not a baseless profession, and there is a world of experience behind every word. A charismatic manager behaves in all adult situations and knows that he must be responsible for every word he utters.

3. Have humility

Charismatic people are also a little bit humble and value every one of their employees. They always listen carefully to everyone and take their concerns seriously. Another notable characteristic of charismatic managers is that they do not underestimate their employees and show them how valuable and effective their presence in the organization is.

As a result, he gets a loyal employee who is always at his service.

4. Be compassionate

A successful, charismatic manager treats those around him with empathy. In many places, being charismatic alone does not help you. Remember that you do not get to the point where people follow you for no reason.

Being charismatic must be accompanied by compassion, honesty, and patience.

5. Have confidence

Having charisma comes along with “confidence.” These models always see the half-full glass and are comfortable with themselves. You need to know yourself well and do not try to copy other people. When we see a charismatic manager, we fully understand how much he cares about himself and is not ashamed of anything.

6. Be a good listener

Charismatic leaders know very well how to listen to you. When you talk to them, they are not distracted, and you are the center of their attention. He is a charismatic manager who listens carefully and enthusiastically to your conversations, and the conversation with him is not one-sided.

7. Correct body language

Another characteristic common characteristic of all charismatic characters is their warm, comfortable and positive body language. When they talk to you, they do not forget eye contact. They smile and eagerly introduce themselves to others to expand their communication.

It is as if a state of lovable boasting surrounds them.

8. Being self-made

Charismatic leaders have usually worked hard to get where they are. They have a series of abilities and skills that have been acquired through effort. As a result, they never give up on personal learning and development.

9. Self-monitoring

A charismatic manager knows full well that his employees are constantly monitoring him. As a result, the best solution is to monitor yourself and carefully monitor your behavior.

How to be charismatic?

After much study and research, we concluded that charisma could be summarized into three topics.

Simple to explain

Engage the audience

Proper use of body language

In the following, we will open these three topics for you a little:

1. Explain simple

If you are a collection manager and a business owner, you need to explain things to the other party as simple as possible. In this way, you can use the storytelling technique to make it easier for the audience to understand the subject.

Learn storytelling skills

Charismatic people always capture the crowd with their interesting and exciting stories.

We all know how to tell a story, but charismatic characters know that they should use words like (for sure, I hope, etc.) instead of like (maybe, I hope, etc.).

Of course, using examples, metaphors, list creation, or comparison of two topics can also help you a lot.

2. Involve people’s emotions

You will surely remember that the most charismatic person you saw could make you feel arithmetic with just one sentence if you think about it. So do not underestimate this feature and try to target people’s emotions.

For example, in a business meeting, try to reflect on the other party’s feelings, set big goals, and argue that those goals are achievable.

Of course, the following ways are also useful:

Make people feel special

  1. Express the end of your sentence in a calmer tone.
  2. If you shake your head in emphasis, do it more slowly than ever.
  3. Wait 2 seconds before speaking.

Be 100% present.

According to a study conducted at Harvard University, 47% of the mind is always jumping.

Be 100% present. Be aware of the moment that passes, pay attention to everything that happens, and do not drown in your thoughts.

Otherwise, in the middle of talking to someone, you come to your senses and see that your body is there, but not your mind! The other party easily recognizes this from your facial expressions and realizes that you are not listening to him.

Listen well and be curious.

It is said that John F. Kennedy was a wonderful listener, and if you talked to him, you would feel that he had all his attention on you.

But until someone starts talking, we pretend to be listening; If wt wait for him to finish talking like a time bomb. But this is not the right technique at all. Instead, pause and ask questions to show your curiosity.

3. Use the body language of charismatic people

If you want to communicate well with others, you have to put yourself in their shoes to understand how you look on the outside. It may be hard to believe, but it will help if you know how to use your body.

  • Do not squat and stand straight.
  • Bend slightly in front of you.
  • Explain things with hand gestures.
  • Do not take yourself seriously. Smile and nod your head in approval.
  • Make eye contact with the other party.
  • Shake hands firmly.
  • Imitate the body language of the other party. (This will make you better understand his feelings and look more intimate.)
  • Behalf a meter away from people. Do not get too close or far away.
  • Do not blink sharply. (Indeed, blinking is not one’s hand, but if you blink one after the other, the other party may feel that you are not comfortable with him)

In the end.
