Peter Delaney loves black and white photography and African wildlife, especially elephants. His first encounter with these magnificent animals was a frightening one. And Peter first encountered a herd of elephants a decade ago on Uganda’s first wildlife safari.
Unfortunately, the times were not kind to the elephants living in that area, and in the past, they hunted many of them for their beautiful ivory.
Although they no longer practiced hunting in that area, it is the nature of elephants that do not easily forget or forgive. Every time we approached the elephants, they attacked. I was a novice wildlife photographer, and this attitude made me very wary of elephants.
After many safari trips and tens of thousands of photographs, Peter fell in love with African elephants and spent countless hours with them.
I have witnessed the most unusual behaviors and interactions of elephants. Elephants are brilliant animals that can sense and understand emotions. If you are calm and calm, they will also reflect these feelings.
