Activation of ESET SMART antivirus
You may receive errors with ACT and ECP error codes when activating ESET Antivirus.
The following will provide a tutorial to fix the ESET antivirus activation error.
1. First, check your internet connection and make sure that the connection is complete.
2. If another antivirus is installed in your system, obliterate it.
3. In the Start menu, type CMD, click on the Command prompt program, and click Run as administrator.
4. On the open page, type netsh winsock reset and press Enter. After displaying the following message indicating the operation’s success, restart your system.
If the activation error is still not resolved, you should take the necessary steps to fix it according to the table below and through the error code written on the error page.

To solve the problem of Internet connection, establish your system. To make sure the system is connected to the Internet, open https://www.eset.com. 2. There is an incompatibility between ESET Antivirus and another security software on your system, such as Lavasoft Web Companion.

| ECP.4115 | This license is not valid in the selected country. Your request needs to be activated in the country where it was purchased.
