Although there is still a long way to go until the introduction of Qualcomm’s next flagship system-on-chip called Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the performance scores of the early versions of this chip are available.
According to the information shared by Tech_Reve, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has achieved an average score of 280 fps in the GFXBench ES3.1 test. In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 score in this measure reaches 220 fps, which means that the next generation of Qualcomm’s flagship chip will be improved by 25-30% in terms of graphics power compared to its current version.
According to previous reports, the Adreno 750 GPU in Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will perform up to 50% better than the current generation of this chip, which uses Adreno 740.
Although exact numbers are unavailable from early Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 benchmarks, the chip scored 1600,000 on the Antoto benchmark. Asus ROG 7 Ultimate smartphone is currently at the top of Antoto’s list, cutting 1330011. This means that the overall performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has improved by 20% in the mentioned benchmark.
However, about four months remain until the introduction of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the revealed statistics of this chip’s performance cannot be considered entirely accurate.
