Printing With iPhone And iPad (The Fastest Method)

Printing With iPhone And iPad (The Fastest Method)

If You Need To Print With Your iPhone Or iPad, The Fastest Way Is To Use The Wireless Airprint Function.

Printing with an iPhone is easier than you think. If you want to print a file from your iPhone or iPad, the easiest way is to add a printer with AirPrint to print directly over a wireless connection.

You can also print wirelessly by installing your printer app on your iPhone or iPad. Finally, you can relinquish wireless methods and start using a cable.

How to print with iPhone

Most new wireless printers have an AirPrint feature that allows the Printer to sync with an iPhone or iPad and print directly easily. If your Printer does not support AirPrint, you can use third-party apps related to your Printer or wired connection.

Print with iPhone with AirPrint app.

The best way to print with an iPhone is AirPrint. You can print wirelessly when you add a printer to your iPhone with AirPrint.

Before you begin, make sure your Printer supports AirPrint and is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone or iPad, then follow these steps:

  • Open the application you want to print from.
  • Tap the Share or ”  ” buttons to find the print option.
  • Scroll down and tap the Print button. Check the user or program guide if you can’t find the print option. Not all apps support AirPrint.
  • Tap No Printer Selected and select an AirPrint-enabled printer.
  • Select the number of copies or other options, such as the number of pages you want to print.
  • Tap Print in the upper right corner.
  • While Printing, you can view your print jobs or cancel them through the App Switcher (swipe up from the bottom to the middle of the screen and hold to see the App Switcher).
  • To see the prints in progress, open App Switcher, then tap Print Center.
  • To cancel a print job, open App Switcher, tap Print Center, then Cancel Printing.
View prints in queue cancels Print.

This AirPrint-enabled Printer will then be added to your list of preferred devices and appear as an option to print whenever you’re in range.

Other software for Printing with iPhone and iPad

Not all printers have the AirPrint feature, especially if they are a bit older. However, if your Printer has wireless capabilities, you should still be able to print wirelessly from it. You need to find and download your printer app in the App Store to do this.

If you have an HP printer, download the HP Smart app to your iPhone or iPad. For Canon printers, download the Canon PRINT InkJet app.

To set up a printer without AirPrint on your iPhone or iPad and use it to print with your iPhone, follow the steps below:

  • Install the printer program and open it on the phone.
  • Turn on the Wi-Fi printer.
  • Go to your phone or tablet settings and tap Wi-Fi.
  • Find your Printer and tap on it.
  • Navigate to the document, image, or web page you want to print, then tap the Share icon to print from your iPhone.
  • You should now be able to connect the Printer through the app and start Printing.

  • Turn on your Printer and connect one end of the USB cable to the Printer and the other to the OTG. Connect the other end of OTG to your iPhone or iPad.
  • A small window will appear on your iPhone or iPad; Tap OK.
  • On your iPhone or iPad, navigate to the document you want to print and tap the Share button.
