As you know, Windows 11 now comes with a completely redesigned interface, several new security features for some businesses and businesses, and several build-in functions and multitasking fixes! Windows 11 is available for free, and if you have not yet upgraded your PC, you should do so.

Since this new operating system is now available and most of us use it, we decided to offer a series of simple tips and tricks for Windows 11 to improve the computing experience, navigate the system, and increase productivity.

Pinning applications or opening their pins from the Start menu

In Windows 11, there is a new logo in your Taskbar, your new Start menu, and includes programs pinned directly to the main menu. Launch the Start menu. Click All Apps. A list of programs on your PC is displayed. Right-click on the application you want to pin and click Pin to Start.

Similarly, when you want to remove a program PIN from the Start menu, you have to right-click on that particular program and click Unpin from Start.

From here, you can do a few other things, such as moving an app up, pinning it to the Taskbar, uninstalling the app, or checking settings.

Text dictation with markup

The narrator tool in Windows 11 has a new feature called auto-markup. Automatic punctuation is automatically added to the text you read aloud to the editor.

Open Notepad and press Win + H together on your computer. Dictation will open. Click the Settings icon and change the “Auto punctuation” tab. Dictation now automatically adds punctuation to the required time and place.

Sound settings

With Windows 11, you can adjust the sound settings directly from your System Tray. Network settings, volume controls, and battery settings are integrated into one button. Click on any of the icons in the System Tray, and all settings will open.

To adjust the sound controls (Sound controls), click on the arrow next to the volume button. Shows you all audio devices connected to your PC. You can easily switch between these devices with one click.

It’s not just that. You can now control the Volume Mixer directly from your desktop. If you right-click on the volume icon, you can see the direct link to the Volume Mixer and other volume settings on your PC.

Faster availability of options

Microsoft has added a new feature called Snap Layouts in Windows 11. In Windows 10, when we opened a window, we usually had only three options to shrink, enlarge, or close the window, but now we can choose

Display the Taskbar on all your monitors

With this new operating system, you can now see the Taskbar on all your screens. Meanwhile, the Taskbar now has a whole new look. To view the Taskbar on all your monitors:

Right-click on your desktop and go to Personalize.
Scroll to the Taskbar and scroll down.
Scroll down to Taskbar Behaviors. You will see the “Show my taskbar on all displays” option.
And over!

Move the Start Menu to the left.

Start Menu is not in the center and of course it is not a bad place! But you can put it on the left if you want. To move the button and start menu to the left:

Right-click on your desktop and click Personalize. (Or you can right-click on the Taskbar and open the taskbar settings directly).
Scroll down and go to the Taskbar.
Under the Taskbar Behavior tab, you will see the Taskbar alignment option.
Select Left, in which case your Taskbar will move to the far left of your screen.
You can return it to the center whenever you want.
As shown in the screenshot above, there is also an option to hide the Taskbar.

You can also place the Taskbar vertically.

Rearrange network settings

Microsoft has added an option to Settings to help you with network connectivity issues. This error often occurs when your drivers are not up to date, or some settings are not configured correctly.

Open Start, go to Settings.
Select Network and Internet.
Go to Advanced Network Settings and click Network Reset.
With this click, all Network Adapters options return to the factory settings.

Doing so will remove all your network card settings and then reinstall them, and other network components will return to their original settings.

Disable notifications

The number of notifications has increased in Windows 11, which can be annoying for some people. Well, fortunately, we can disable notifications.

Go to Settings from the Start menu, and you can also press Win + I to open Settings directly.
Go to the System section and click on Notifications.
Notifications are kept on or off by default, but you can easily turn them off.
You can also set notification settings for all your PC applications separately.

Remove unwanted personalized ads in apps.

With this updated operating system, you now have better control over your privacy. You can stop apps that display personalized ads using your data with just one click.

Go to Settings and then Privacy & Security.
From the right panel, click on General Settings.
You can choose here if you want apps and websites to show you ads and related content based on your interests and language.

Block popups and tracking in Microsoft Edge

Not bad if you check a series of settings in Microsoft Edge.

Launch Microsoft Edge on your PC and go to Settings by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner of the browser.
From the left panel, click on Privacy, Search, and Services.
In the left panel, you will see that this option is set to Balanced by default, but we suggest selecting the Strict option.
This will block most detectors, block detectors will be considered malicious detectors, and the content will contain minimal personalization.

Access new options by right-clicking

You may not notice it, but in the new Windows 11, there are changes to the options that appear by right-clicking. When you right-click on any file on your PC, you will see many new options added. Cut, Copy, Delete, and… They have also become an icon.

Widgets or devices

This is one of several new features added to Windows 11. The widget is the new name and remake of News and Interest that we had in Windows 10. The News and Interests icon was previously placed in the System Tray in the lower right corner. You can add or customize widgets based on your interests.

Touch the keyboard

If you have a Windows 11 touch device, Windows 11 has a touch keyboard. Right-click on the Taskbar to open the taskbar settings. Below the tab, you will see the icons of the taskbar corner, the Touch Keyboard.

Please turn it on or off so that the touch keyboard icon is always displayed in your Taskbar. You will now have a small touch keyboard icon in your System Tray, next to the Wi-Fi icon.

Windows 11 still lets you change the touch keyboard theme!

Change the default geolocation of your PC

We know that almost every program installed on our PC has access to our Location. You can change the position of your default location if you wish. You can also decide if you want desktop applications to access your Location.

Press Win + I to open Settings.
Go to Privacy & Security.
Scroll down and click on the Location tab.
If you want to change your default location, click Set default to open Maps for you.
Enter your Location and click Change.

Modify search settings

The search pane has also found new features in the Taskbar. Everything you type in the search bar is searched in apps, documents, the web, etc. The apps you use the most are right in the search box. All your duplicate searches are listed here.

You can also be clear about where you want to search. For example, if you want to search for something in your Email, click the More tab and select Email. Now type what you want to search in your emails. So, you do not need to go to your email account to search for Email. You can do this directly from the Windows search option.
