Stylish Design Of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5

Samsung is known for making some of the best foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.

Therefore, the eagerness of enthusiasts to see the future model is not strange.

Although it is a few months from its official announcement, thanks to the newly revealed renders, we can first look at the Galaxy Z Fold 5 phone.

Renders leaked by Onleaks ‘ Steve Hammerstoffer, in collaboration with Smartprix, show the first impression of the Galaxy Z Fold 5. If you are interested in the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the new design will likely attract your attention.

The foldable phone looks excellent in the renders, but not much has changed, with Samsung sticking to the same design as last year’s model. So don’t hope for a new and fundamental change.

Smartprix has also shared some dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 on its website, including renderings and short film clips. According to this information, the folding dimensions will be 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.3 mm when unfolded and 154.9 x 67.1 x 13.5 mm when folded.

Notorious leakster Ice Universe also tweeted the dimensions of the foldable earlier in the week, showing similar dimensions to these measurements. There seem to be slight differences between them, so we’ll consider these new dimensions for now.

For now, one of the notable things in this information is the same thickness on both sides of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 when folded, which could mean the elimination of the small gap in previous models.

In previous versions, Samsung relied on the exact hinge mechanism, creating a small gap when the phone was closed. Now it seems that with the “drop” hinge design, it is possible to flatten the device in the closed state. In this case, this new hinge makes the phone look much more stylish and reduces its overall thickness, which is very important for a foldable.

Another advantage of the new hinge is to reduce screen wrinkles. According to this report, it seems that the dimensions of the display will not change, the outer screen will be 6.2 inches, and the inner screen will be 7.6 inches. Another slight difference that is hardly noticeable is the relocation of the rear camera’s LED from the bottom to the side.

For the most part, visually, all of the device’s specs are pretty much the same, so it’ll be interesting to see if Samsung makes any other changes when the phone is announced.

Despite the accuracy of Onleaks’ reports in the past, there is a possibility that this may change.

Of course, we don’t have to wait long as Samsung is working on launching it earlier this year.
