Top Images Of The 2022 Hurricane Photo Contest
Famous Hurricane Photographer Mike Olbinski Has Created The “Annual Hurricane Photo Contest Of The Year” to help the public recognize the dedication of professional and amateur photographers.
Hurricane Photo Contest, Storm photography is often considered one of the most challenging genres of photography. A hurricane photographer must not only be skilled in composition and adjustment but must be meticulously planned and committed while remaining safe in a hazardous environment.
Storm Photo Contest of the Year
More than a decade ago, Mike Olbinski’s passion for storms and photography was born after seeing a picture of a dazzling thunderstorm on a meteorological website. Over the years, Olbinsky hit the road every spring and learned how to follow climatic patterns that turn into photogenic storms.
He soon took dramatic photographs of high-velocity tornadoes, mammoth clouds, and 5,000-foot-tall turtles in Arizona.
Storm Friend Mike says the motivation for the Stormy Photos of the Year competition is to reward those who work hard every year.
Olbinski and his team of judges have just announced the Storm of the Year photo contest winners. These works are an incredible display of their photographers’ talent, hard work, and determination. We invite you to watch these stunning storm images below.
