7. Change the bandwidth limit to zero (for online games only)

If you want to play online, you need to increase the speed of the Internet. In general, bandwidth refers to the amount of data transmitted by a network connection or interface. Windows, however, offers special settings to limit the range of reserved bandwidth.

By default, Windows saves some bandwidth for the program and performance it needs. You can limit the reserved bandwidth from Group Policy Editor. In the following, we will explain how to access the reserved bandwidth settings in Windows 10.

1. Press the Windows + R shortcut key to open the Group Policy Editor in the Run window.

2-Enter Gpedit.MSC (make sure you are logged in with an administrative account), then press OK.

3. You should now see the Local Group Policy Editor window.

4- Follow the following path:

Computer Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Network >> QoS Packet Scheduler >> Limit reservable bandwidth

5. When you click on Limit reservable bandwidth, a new window will open, and the Not Configured option must be enabled.

6- Change the status to Enabled and reduce the Bandwidth limit to zero.
