The Winners Of The Maasai Mara Photo Contest In 2022

The Winners Of The Best Maasai Mara Photographer Of The Year 2022 Have Been Announced. Kenyan Photographers Won The Prize Of 10,000 Dollars.

“Maasai Mara Photographer of the Year” is an annual competition designed to celebrate the Maasai Mara’s wildlife year-round, port the active duty forces’ initiatives, and discover the passion and talent of the Mara wildlife photography community.

This year, 300 photographers from 30 countries participated in this competition by submitting pictures they took during their stay in 88 different lodges and camps throughout the Masai Mara. The 2022 Masai Mara Photo Contest received more than 1,000 photos.

This year’s lucky winners are Preeti and Prashant Chacko, who captured a picture of a mother giraffe and her baby and received a five-night safari apart from a cash prize.

The competition strives to showcase and appreciate the vital role of safari guides in tourism. The safari guides’ in-depth knowledge of animal behavior often takes the photographer to precisely the right place at the right moment to capture award-winning images.

Therefore, the winning photographer’s guide is awarded a prize every year.
