The Hand 386 is a PDA-style portable game console powered by the old Intel 386SX CPU. Of course, Intel’s 386SX processor has joined history, but it is emulated in chipsets such as DM&P M6117D and ALI M1217. The frequency of this processor is only 40 MHz, and it has only 8 MB of RAM!

Also, the CHIPS F65535 graphic processor with 640×480 pixel output resolution and 256-bit colors is used in the construction of this console.

The Hand 386 game console has a USB connector, an 8-bit ISA port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, VGA image output, and a PS/2 port for the mouse and keyboard. More strangely, the internal memory of this console is a CF memory card, which is connected to its motherboard through the outdated IDE interface. The old Yamaha YMF262-M OPL3 chip is used for sound.

This old computer can run Windows 3.1, Windows 95, or DOS version 6.22 to 7.1 as if back from the dead. The dimensions of this unusual computer are 15x13x1.6 cm, and it has a battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh.

This strange computer was launched for $195 and is currently out of stock after 60 units were sold.

You can run old games without using an emulator with such a computer. However, paying close to $200 for a dinosaur computer will only come from fans of nostalgic fireworks.
