The Finalists For The 2021 Bird Photographer Of Wildlife Photography Is  One Of The Most Difficult And Enjoyable Genres Of Photography.

Active photographers in this field wait for hours, days, and even years to catch the right moment. In the sixth year of BPOTY competitions, this year’s finalists have shown the result of their patience and hard work.

There were 22,000 participants from 73 countries in this year’s bird photography competition. According to Will Nicholas, the supervisor of the competition, the standard of photography in this year’s competition was very impressive, and the diversity of different species was remarkable.

The final winning photos in the “Bird Behavior” and “Black & White” categories will be announced along with all other winners in September 2021. The final winner will receive a cash prize of £5,000 in addition to being awarded the Bird Photographer of the Year title. William Collins will record the finalists’ photos and other outstanding images from this year’s competition in the Fine Art Book, which will be made available to the public via the BPOTY website.

Among the images of this year’s talented finalists is a photo by James Wilcox that perfectly captures the sweet moment between a young man eating oysters with his father. The intimacy between these two birds captivates the viewer.

Fahad El Nazi’s hunting photo shows a white-tailed osprey trying to defend itself against a fox. In this photo, Al-Nazi has depicted a beautiful example of a dramatic moment in the competitive food chain.

Li Yang Lu has beautifully displayed the splendor and power in the image of the red-crowned terns dancing with their mates. All the pictures announced in this round of competitions try to engage the viewer from different angles.
