The easiest way to retouch a photo in Photoshop with the clonestamp command

In this section, we are going to remove all the red spots on this man’s skin. We recommend using a photo with less stains.

Step 1: Open the photo that needs to be retouched by going to File> Open.

Step 2: Use the Healing Brush Tool marked with the wound adhesive image.

Click on it to select. A window will appear at the top of the screen.

Choose a 24 pixel brush. Then to use the Healing Brush Tool:

Hold down the alt key and select the area you want to copy (Clone) (1) and then go to the area you want to copy (Copy) (2) and click and drag.

A sign like the positive sign indicates the previous location. See how to do it below.

Move the mouse over the area you want to copy from (1). Here we want to replace the red spots on the man’s face with the skin on his nose (2).

Hold down the alt key and click on area (1). The symbol above appears.

Now we want to copy the skin that has a red spot (2). Then click and drag the circle where you want to copy the skin of the nose (2). The + sign indicates the area being copied. The + sign moves simultaneously with the circle.

Repeat the same procedure several times to make the face look smoother.

Step 3: Use the CloneStamp Tool.

Click on it to select. A window will appear at the top of the page.

Select the brush size according to the area you want to retouch with the clonestamp command. Here we have selected the size of 24 pixels.

Now use the alt key to use the stamp tool and click to select the area you want to copy and go to the part you want to copy (2) and click and drag the mouse. Indicates the positive sign of the previous area.

Both the Stamp tool and the Healing Brush give you the same results you saw above. Do the same as many times as necessary to make the face look smoother and cleaner.
