Since There Is Not Much Time Left Until The End Of 2021, We Decided To Review The Best Pictures Of This Year And Give Our Eyes A Little Rest.

In the ups and downs year of 2020, an epidemic disease devastated the world, A catastrophic event unlike any other event in human life. In 2021, with many difficulties, we were able to reduce the pressures and damages of Covid-19; But we are still not wholly free from this virus and its strains.

Now we are faced with the emergence of another type of virus around the world, which has given us a little peace of mind thanks to a glimmer of hope in the form of vaccines and booster shots. Perhaps in 2021, with the gradual opening of stores, restaurants, sports halls, theaters, etc., we could believe in the proverb, “The end of the night is black and white.”

During the pandemic, many photographers who lost their jobs due to travel restrictions and social distancing found new ways to capture the wonders and charms of the world and continued to capture stunning images.

Despite the questionable state of the world in 2021, photographers were able to capture beauty and despair and everything in between. In the last 12 months, these images showed us a brilliant sense of flexibility and passion for life.

It seems that in these two years, photographers have focused more on the greatness of nature and the unshakable spirit of man than in previous years. 

The images we saw throughout the year are different from the past in terms of color, content, and composition; But in all of them, there is a shared sense of gratitude; Appreciating the earth and life and each other. Although there is no defining moment to grasp the nature of 2021 fully, this year has undoubtedly been a year of shared problems.

Around the world, we face similar obstacles and brilliant revelations of beauty all around us. My Modernity Magazine’s “Best Photos of 2021” selection includes various images.
