A Whistleblower Says That Telegram Will Soon Enable Connecting User Accounts To Email. It Increases The Security Of User Accounts.

According to the XDA Developers report, Telegram is working on a new way to protect user accounts. Every time the user wants to log into his account through another device, Telegram sends him a verification code by email. After applying the changes, users can connect their email to their Telegram account.

Telegram has not yet provided any information about connecting user accounts to email, but a whistleblower managed to get hold of some screenshots of the feature. The new feature includes the Sign in with Google option so Gmail users can easily log in to Telegram.

One of the screenshots shows that the new feature will enter Telegram’s Privacy and Security settings menu. The following message will be displayed by tapping on the corresponding option: “will use This email address  every time you log into your Telegram account from a new device.”

Telegram currently offers users two-factor authentication to protect their accounts. Thanks to this feature, you can protect your account with an additional password.
