A sitemap is actually a file on your site that shows the important pages that Google should know about. When you introduce your sitemap, Google can find your website pages more easily and quickly. As a result, the indexing speed of your website content increases. Keep in mind that the smaller the sitemap, the faster the website pages will be indexed. Registering the sitemap in Google Webmaster is one of those methods. For this purpose, you must proceed in the following order:

Prerequisites : You must be registered as a domain owner for the desired domain to be able to use sitemap reports. If this level of access is not available to you, it is better to register the sitemap through the robots.txt file of your website.

All approved formats are under 50MB in size and support 50,000 unique URLs. If your file is larger and has more than the specified number of links, you should divide it into several smaller sitemaps. Accepted formats for sitemap are:
    • XML Markup Language ( Extensible Markup Extensible Language ) created exclusively to show the configuration of the website to search engine crawlers.
    • RSS, mRSS and Atom 1.0 Really Simple Syndication an . is : XML format file for blogs and news sites The RSS file is automatically updated. As the owner of such a site, you can send the feed URL as a site map. You can also use the mRSS format, which stands for Media RSS, to display details about your video content.
    • TEXT : If your website only contains URLs of web pages, you can register a text file containing the URLs of the site in Google Search Console.
    • Google sites : If you have used Google Sites to create and register your website, you should know that the role of your site is created automatically. You cannot change this sitemap, but you can introduce it to Google.
