Teaching how to make Reverse Lookup Zone in Server 2022

This article will teach you how to create a reverse lookup zone in Windows Server 2022. The reverse lookup zone is used to convert names to IP addresses; it is one of the main parts of the DNS Server. To complete this tutorial, Windows Server 2022 and Active Directory must be installed and configured. In this training, for example, we have the network 192.168.241.0/24, and we intend to create a reverse lookup zone for this network.

First, enter Server Manager and click on DNS from the Tools section.

In the Zone Type field, select Primary Zone and click Next.

In this section, select the second option: To all DNS servers running on domain controllers in this domain.

Considering that we are using the IPv4 address range, select the IPv4 Reverse Lookup Zone option.

Enter the network address of your range in the Network ID field.

Techopedia explains Window Manager

Generally, window managers collaborate with the desktop environment, logical graphical system, and the underlying hardware to operate and manipulate graphical windows. These windows can be for the operating system or a software program/application. Some of the features window managers provide are the ability to minimize, maximize and close opened windows. The placement, effects, colors, and transitioning may also be part of window managers, although this will depend on the underlying operating system, graphical libraries, and system in use. Windows Explorer is a component in the Windows OS that incorporates and manages the window manager’s tasks and features.
