Super Attractive Selected Photos From Astronomy Photography Contest 2022

The Royal Greenwich Observatory’s Annual Astrophotography Competition Has Announced This Year’s Shortlisted Images From Around The World.

In this period, the world’s largest prestigious space photography competition received more than 3000 professional amateur works from 67 countries worldwide. This competition, which is now in its 14th year, consists of a jury of experts from the world of art and astronomy.

Photographers in nine categories, including Skies, Auroras, People and Space, Our Sun, Our Moon, Planets, Comets and Asteroids, Stars and Nebulae, Galaxies, and Young Astronomy Photographer of the Year for young astronomers under the age of 16 to receive the title of Best Astronomy Photographer They compete in 14 competitions.

The judges will also award two special prizes; Sir Patrick Moore Award for Best Newcomer and Annie Mander Award for Image Innovation. All winners will be announced at an online awards ceremony on September 15, 2022.

The prize pool includes a cash prize of £10,000 for the overall winner and £1,500 for the other category winners. The winners will receive a special compensation of £750. All winning photographers will also receive a one-year subscription to BBC Sky’s Evening Magazine. In the following, you can see the selected photos of the 2022 Astronomical Photo Contest.
