The Comedy Pet Photography Contest Has Announced Its 2022 Winners. “Cats That Stick Together” Has Been Announced As The Winner Of This Year’s Competition.
The annual Comedy Pet Photo Contest, created by professional photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sollam, highlights the funny situations pets find themselves in.
After selecting 26 of the best-submitted photos, all of which were competing for a cash prize of $2,505, the jury recently announced that
The list of finalists has been revealed. Like last year, the race has partnered with Animals Friends pet insurance to raise $43,840 for various pet and animal charities. In addition to the cash prize, the grand prize winner will have the opportunity to select a charity to receive a $6,260 grant from Animals Friends Pet Insurance.
Kenichi Morinaga was finally announced as the winner of the 2022 Pet Photography Comedy Contest with a photo of two cats sitting on the fence that look as if they are joined headless.
The primary winner and the cat category winner
Morinaga, whose photo was also named the Best Cat Photo category winner, won the top cash prize and a donation from Animals Friends pet insurance, which will go to animal welfare or conservation charity of her choice. After deliberation, she decided to donate to The Cat Welfare Group, an organization based on the south coast of Great Britain that helps rescue and rehome stray and abandoned cats.
