Skyrim Anniversary Edition Game Was Introduced Another Version Of Skyrim, This Time For Its Tenth Anniversary

Update: The main text of the news says that the Anniversary Edition will be free for all Special Edition owners. This sentence is half true; Special Edition owners will receive three special Creation Club content – Fishing, Survival Mode, and Dungeon, as well as a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox X / S Series.

But the Anniversary Edition itself, which includes all the content in the Creation Club, will be sold separately, and the owners of the current version of the game can upgrade their Skyrim to the new version for an unknown amount.

Original text: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will celebrate its tenth anniversary in a few months, and a new version will be released.

This 10th-anniversary edition of the game, known as the Skyrim Anniversary Edition, was unveiled at the QuakeCon event. In addition to the main game and its three expansion packs, this new version will also include all the contents of Creation Club.

Creation Club was a platform for media developers to work with Bethesda to sell their creations, completely separate from the myriad of materials available for the game.

Now all of this content, which Bethesda says includes more than 500 “elements,” will be included in the new version of the game. Anniversary Edition is also set to include a fishing mini-game that did not previously exist in previous versions of the game.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition is set to be released on November 11, 2021, exactly ten years after its first release, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox X / S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This version will be free for Special Edition owners on all platforms. It should be noted that for unknown reasons, there is no news of the release of this title for Nintendo Switch.

Interestingly, Skyrim officially surpassed Resident Evil 4 with this new version and broke the record for the most re-releases of a game for various platforms.
