Pink Lagoon, A Dream Come True In Australia

Pink Lagoon, A Dream Come True In Australia

Hot Lagoon Or Pink Lagoon On The West Coast Of Australia Is A Collection Of Artificial Pools Growing Microalgae That Make Its Waters Look Pink.

Kristina Makiva is an artist who has long dreamed of photographing Australia’s Pink Lake. After visiting Hutt Lagoon, he was sure that what he saw was beyond his dreams. Hutt Lagoon is located on the west coast of Australia near the city of Gregory.

This tiny town is a fishing port between the ocean and the pink lagoon. Hat Lagoon is a salt lake seen in red or pink due to the presence of carotenoid-producing microalgae Dunaliella salina, a source of beta-carotene, a food coloring agent, and a source of vitamin A.

This wetland, with a collection of 250 hectares of artificial ponds for the cultivation of Donalilla Salina, is considered one of the world’s largest sources of microalgae production.
