Pictures of Ali Shokri, a famous Iranian photographer

Ali Shokri Is An Iranian Photographer And Works In The Style Of Landscape Photography. “Troubles Of Trees” Is The Name Of His Famous Book.

Ali Shokri, a nature and landscape photographer, takes black-and-white photos of trees and is known for this particular style of photography. He has published a collection of photos he took in Iran and Azerbaijan in the book “The Passion of Trees.”

According to Shokri, his photos are taken to show the importance of nature protection. Deforestation and the development of roads and dams have destroyed his favorite nature, and this motivated him to start photographing trees and be able to change the process of forest destruction.

Shukri says:

From my point of view, every tree has a story to tell, like every human being. When a tree dies, the story’s narrative is interrupted, and a lousy fate is set for it.

In my opinion, the felled trees piled on the back of trucks for transport curse us with their broken arms, scarred faces,, and severed roots.

When humans turn more trees into ashes, the human world will gradually disappear, and this is perhaps the curse of trees affecting us.

Next, we review some of Ali Shukri’s photos.

An example of a picture taken of trees by Ali Shukri

Shukri says:

I know that I cannot save the trees with my photos and restore nature to its former greenness, But by photographing lonely and sad trees, I try to encourage the audience to look at heart from a different perspective and to know that if there are no trees, the birds will be homeless and there is no air to breathe. When there are no trees, humanity will disappear.
