Monochrome Photo Collection Of Flowers And Plants
Monochrome Photo Collection Of Flowers And Plants Is A Work Of A Spanish Photographer Who Tried To Show The Neglected Beauty Of Plants In The Light Of Monochrome Photos.
Barcelona-based photographer Griselda Dutch has shared her long-term project called “Botany.” Inspired by images associated with early 20th-century photographers Karl Blossfeld, Imogen Cunningham, and Robert Mapplethorpe, he has attempted to celebrate the beauty of the natural environment with a series of monochrome colors of flowers and plants.
Using a simple technique that uses the development of oblique, frontal, and sometimes oblique perspectives, the photos are displayed with a neutral gray background so as not to detract from the plant’s prominence.
Griselda expresses her purpose for creating this collection as follows:
By aesthetically reflecting and praising the universal plant motif, my sole purpose is to interpret nature through art to transform it into emotion.
In the light of this monochromatic collection with a precise composition where self-expression reigns, an overlooked beauty is revealed through botanicals that hold an infinity of potential forms.
