Madrid In The Frame Of Infrared Photography

Yann Philippe Is A Tasteful Photographer Who Prefers To Try Everything Himself. On A Training Trip To Madrid, He Tried Infrared Landscape Photography By Creating A New Filter.

Yann Philippe, who went to Madrid for a few days to participate in a retouching masterclass, wandered around the city and tried to capture its atmosphere.

He was attracted to places with vegetation. Since digital filters are a hot trend in social media, Philip also wanted to explore a more subtle and challenging way to use them, using older methods that are probably more difficult than modern ones.

With KolariVision, Philip created the IRChrome filter (an actual glass filter that can be attached to a camera lens), which, combined with an infrared conversion camera, allows photos with the look and feel of vintage Kodak Aerochrome film without massive post-processing.
