How To Change Your Photoshop Screen Mode?

Adobe Photoshop has a customizable user interface that you can customize. If you want to quickly change your Photoshop UI layer, then you can do so by scrolling through the screen modes.

In the following, we are going to teach you how to change the page mode in Photoshop.

Screen Modes are pre-made modes  of the Photoshop user interface that determine how much of the software’s image editing interface is visible. For example, if you want to set aside panels and toolbars to increase your speed, then you can use the Photoshop page layout feature.

Page modes available in Adobe Photoshop

In Photoshop, there are several default page modes. By default, “Standard Screen Mode” is used when opening or creating a new document. In this case, tools and panels are displayed on the right and left as well as at the top.

By selecting the “Full Screen Mode With Menu Bar”; As the name implies, Photoshop is in full screen mode and the menu bar and other panels are also visible.

If you select “Full Screen Mode”, then your Photoshop will be in its simplest state. In this case, you will only see the canvas, and if you move the mouse pointer to the left, then the toolbar in this area will also appear.

There are also two hidden screen modes that you must use keyboard commands to enable. In these cases, certain parts of the user interface, such as the right or left panels and the options bar at the top, will be hidden.

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the default page state. The only solution is to do this manually when opening an old or new document.

There are several ways to quickly switch between page modes in Photoshop. To use the menu bar to do this, you must first open a file in Photoshop and then select “View> Screen Mode”. Then you have to choose one of your favorite modes.

You can also do this by clicking on the “Screen Mode” icon at the bottom of the Photoshop toolbar (usually on the left). By clicking on this icon, you can switch between these modes. You can also do the same by right-clicking and selecting the desired option.

You can also quickly switch between different screen modes by pressing the “F” key on your keyboard. If you also use the default screen mode, then you can hide all the panels shown on the left or right by pressing the “Shift + Tab” keys.

To hide the panels as well as the options bar at the top, you have to press the “Tab” key.
