How to align Google Sheet (the simplest method)

How to align Google Sheet (the simplest method)

Introduction

After adding a lot of content to a spreadsheet, it can sometimes be difficult to view and read all of your information easily. Formatting lets you customize the look and feel of your spreadsheet, making it easier to see and understand.

In this lesson, you will learn how to change the text’s size, style, and color in your cells. You will also learn to adjust text alignment and add borders and background colors to your cells.
Cell formatting

Each cell in a new spreadsheet uses the same default formatting. As you begin to build a spreadsheet, you can customize the formatting to make it easier to view and understand your information. We use a spreadsheet to plan and organize a garden plot in the example.

Follow the steps below to enable right-aligned text editing for documents stored on Google Drive.

Connect to Google Drive.

Click the Gear icon and then Settings.

  • Go to the “Editing” section.
  • Check “Always show right-to-left controls in the editor.”

Click the Save button. Just as easily!
