Liga Lipina is a horse photographer in Iceland. Liga’s job is to photograph Icelandic horses in the harsh yet stunning nature of Iceland. When people see her photos, Liga says, the most common question is if they are Photoshopped and how they can take pictures like this themselves.
In response to this group of curious people, Liga says that none of his images are photoshopped. Instead, he explains how he creates a beautiful photo:
To find the right place I have in mind for my work, I travel around Iceland and go to different places. We ensure that any chosen location is safe for the horses. Then on the day of the shoot, we take the horses to these specific locations. I am fortunate to be surrounded by fantastic horse owners who are always excited to go on adventures with me and trust me.– Liga Lipna
