The new flagship of the Raptor Lake series has 24 cores and 32 threads in a hybrid configuration, including 8 P cores and 16 E cores.

This chip also has a Turbo Boost Max mode that balances the frequency of its cores at 5.8 GHz. In this situation, the standard frequency of P performance cores reaches 5.4, and the optimal E cores run 4.3 GHz.

In addition, this CPU uses 68 MB of cache memory, and the power consumption of PL1 is stated to be 150 watts, which can be increased to 253 watts. Of course, higher values ​​can be reached by using extreme power profile modes.

But in multi-threaded tests, this CPU’s advantage over AMD Ryzen 9 7950X reaches 8%, and i9-13900K reaches 3%. As you can see, its superiority over Core i9-13900K is not very impressive. Still, the gold silicon of KS series processors has always been an attractive choice for overclockers and technology enthusiasts.

The price of the Core i9-13900KS processor is not low, and it will undoubtedly be sold at around $100-$200 more than the Core i9-13900K.
