Disclosure of Core i9-13900KS processor benchmark results; Up to 15% faster than Ryzen 9 7950X

The Performance Results Of The Intel Core I9-13900KS Processor, The 6 GHz Flagship Of The Raptor Lake Series, Have Been Revealed In The Cinebench R23 Benchmark, Which Shows A 15% Advantage Over The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X From The Red Team.

Intel Core i9-13900KS is the world’s first CPU to reach a 6 GHz operating frequency. 13900KS matches a frequency of 6 GHz using Thermal Velocity Boost technology and becomes the first CPU to achieve such a frequency by default. The new flagship of the Raptor Lake series has 24 cores and 32 threads in a hybrid configuration, including 8 P cores and 16 E cores.

This chip also has a Turbo Boost Max mode that balances the frequency of its cores at 5.8 GHz. In this situation, the standard frequency of P performance cores reaches 5.4, and the optimal E cores run 4.3 GHz.

In addition, this CPU uses 68 MB of cache memory, and the power consumption of PL1 is stated to be 150 watts, which can be increased to 253 watts. Of course, higher values can be reached by using extreme power profile modes.

The Intel Core i9-13900KS processor performs up to 15% better than the Ryzen 9 7950X processor in terms of single-threaded performance and 5% better performance than the Core i9-13900K, the current flagship of the K series.

But in multi-threaded tests, this CPU’s advantage over AMD Ryzen 9 7950X reaches 8%, and i9-13900K reaches 3%. As you can see, its superiority over Core i9-13900K is not very impressive. Still, the gold silicon of KS series processors has always been an attractive choice for overclockers and technology enthusiasts.

The price of the Core i9-13900KS processor is not low, and it will undoubtedly be sold at around $100-$200 more than the Core i9-13900K.

In addition, its power consumption will be higher, but this is why these processors are produced in limited numbers, and their supply status will not be the same as the standard Core i9-13900K model. The release time of this CPU is also planned for January 12, 2023 (December 22, 1401).
