Windows 7 Users Must Use Clean Install To Upgrade To Windows 11

Lenovo India Has Released A Document Stating That Windows 11 Can Only Be Installed On Devices Running Windows 7 Or 8.1 With Clean Install Or Re-Install.

Clean Install, With the introduction of Windows 11, many older Redmondian operating systems became interested in migrating to the new operating system; Of course, Microsoft has announced the minimum system required to install or upgrade to Windows 11.

On the other hand, for older system users, it has been announced that they can migrate to Windows 11; But the installation method will be different, which we will discuss in the following.

According to Microsoft executives, Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 users can also install Windows 11 after release; But there is a difference between installing Windows 11 on older operating systems.

Windows 11 will be installed as an update on Windows 10 and will not delete data, But users of older operating systems must use the Clean Install method.

The Clean Install method means that the user information, including the applications and software it uses, is all removed from the computer’s memory. The user must reinstall the applications he uses.

WindowsLatest reports that older Windows versions are different in Windows 11, so their data must be deleted before Windows 11 can be installed.

According to the report, the upgrade information for Windows 11 on various operating systems was obtained through a document provided to users by Lenovo India Branch.

According to the data in the document, operating system users such as Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 can migrate to Windows 11 in two ways, the first being Clean Install and the second being Re-Install.

It does not matter which method users choose; Because in both cases, they have to say goodbye to the information in their current operating system.

On the other hand, the situation is completely different for Windows 10 users; Because its users can download Windows 11 as an update and install it on their device.

Most devices on the market can now download Windows 11, But users whose device is not compatible with the minimum system required to install Windows 11 for any reason upgrade the device hardware.

It is said that methods have been proposed to bypass TPM 2.0. Still, it would be best if you kept in mind that using such methods is not recommended. If your device is not compatible with Windows 11, it is better to continue using Windows 10; Microsoft will continue to support software for Windows 10.

“Most devices on the market can be upgraded to Windows 11, and enthusiasts can install and migrate to the latest Microsoft operating system in a variety of ways, such as Clean Install or Re-Install,” said Lenovo India India.

A noteworthy point in upgrading to Windows 11 is that it is free.

In fact, the user does not need to pay to upgrade their operating system to Windows 11.

Of course, users of older operating systems such as Windows 7 and 8.1 should back up their data before installing Windows 11 and write down the names of the applications they use to reinstall.

Windows 10 users will be able to return after installing Windows 11. If they are not satisfied with its performance, they can return to their previous operating system within a period of 10 days.

In addition to the applications developed for Windows 10, Windows 11 also supports Windows 7 and 8.1 applications, and users will have no problem installing and using legacy applications and software.

Microsoft says that Windows 11 has been developed with compatibility with older operating systems and their applications and can run Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 applications without any problems.

Microsoft plans to release Windows 11 to enthusiasts in the second half of 2021.

Currently, beta versions of Windows 11 are available, which do not have all the features and capabilities of the final version. Still, those interested in Redmond software products can enjoy the full version of Windows 11 with the release of the final version, including the ability to install Android applications.
