The world’s fastest SFF graphics card was launched

Nvidia Will Come To The Market With The SFF Ada Generation RTX 4000 Graphics Card With A Power Consumption Of 70 Kilowatts, Which Is Suitable For All Desktop Computers.

This dual graphics card is designed with low height and excellent details. Its price is relatively high; for example, it is higher than RTX 4080 because it is intended for professional users. However, nothing is stopping it from being installed on a regular computer.

PNY’s SFF Ada Generation RTX 4000 graphics card with the Nvidia brand can now be purchased at around $1400 at reputable hardware stores such as ShopBLT.

That’s why this card is selling for a premium compared to the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $1,250. This card has four Mini-DisplayPort connectors, so you’ll need to buy an mDP-DP or mDP-HDMI adapter, which should be added to the price of this miniature solution.

The Nvidia RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation graphics card features the company’s AD104 GPU with 6,144 active CUDA cores out of 7,680 seats and 20GB of GDDR6 ECC memory connected to the GPU via a 160-bit interface.

The GPU boost frequency is limited to around 1560 MHz to reduce overall card consumption.

It’s rated for just 70W of power, which means it can be installed in almost any desktop computer without an auxiliary PCIe power connector.

In this combination, Nvidia’s GA104 graphics processor achieves the highest FP32 performance with 19.2 TFLOPS, which is similar to GeForce RTX 3070 in some ways. However, this Nvidia RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation graphics card with 20 GB of memory is suitable for applications. The predicted future is also more applicable to professional AI researchers. The card will likely use 2GB GDDR6 chips on both sides of the PCB to combine memory. Otherwise, the 160-bit interface will limit the maximum memory to 10 GB.

With nearly 20 trillion operations per second FP32, the RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation graphics card underperforms the recently introduced GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card (with 29 trillion operations per second FP32).

This card also features RT performance with up to 44.3 trillion operations per second and tensor performance up to 153/306.8 trillion operations per second / TOPS FP8/INT8 (with and without limits).

Of course, the FP8 / INT8 performance is unrelated to games, but it is considered a bonus for the professional market. The performance of 153/306.8 trillion operations per second / TOPS is also comparable to the RTX 3090 Ti (except that the RTX 3090 Ti only supports FP16 and, if you don’t care about precision, is similar to the RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation in performance will be FP8 / INT8).

Other RTX 4000 SFF Ada benefits include professional Nvidia drivers and support for ISV’s professional software. Additionally, it comes with a 3-pin mini-DIN connector for stereoscopic 3D output, such as Nvidia 3D Vision, and supports frame-locking for multi-display applications.

As sales increase, the price and availability of the RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation graphics card will improve. But for now, this graphics card is designed as a workpiece for small systems and focuses on low-power performance.
