Before deleting a Discord account, you can do a few things to make this process smooth. For example, if you have any server, you need to do one of the following two things.

Either transfer ownership of the server to someone else or delete the server altogether. Otherwise, you will not be able to delete your account.

Whenever you are done with the servers, click on the gear in the bottom corner of the screen. This option takes you to User Settings.

From there, the app will have to open the My Account page itself. If this does not happen, log in yourself.

Then click the Edit button. You can now see a red button called Delete Account. There is another option called Disable Account, which instead of simply deleting your account, deactivates it.
